NamiWave Media Deployment with 7-Eleven in Hawaii

NamiWave Media DVD Vending Kiosks are Most Advanced in Market

LOS ANGELES, CA, July 15, 2010 – NamiWave, LLC, a global entertainment business development agency, and Seven-Eleven Hawaii, Inc., owner and operator of the 7-Eleven® chain throughout Hawaii, announce today their agreement for a pilot test of NamiWave Media DVD vending kiosks in six 7-Eleven® stores on Oahu. This agreement marks the first time DVD movies will be available for rental in a 7-Eleven® store in Hawaii.

The pilot test will be the first commercial deployment of the NamiWave Media kiosk, which is a third-generation kiosk featuring award-winning software, scalable hardware with bare-disc technology, and the largest touch-screen interface on the market. The kiosk features a 32” LCD for digital signage, a robust recommendations engine, and an artificially-intelligent mobile marketing technology, presenting many marketing and database opportunities. The machines can easily be configured for digital distribution, creating a transitional technology from packaged media to the digital era, based on the changing needs of consumers today.

“We are excited to partner with NamiWave to bring entertainment products to our customers,” stated Glenn Nagatori, President and CEO of Seven-Eleven Hawaii, Inc. “After looking at several options, we chose NamiWave’s kiosks because we thought they had the sleekest design, most features, and best growth potential.”

“This partnership marks an important first step in creating a name for NamiWave Media,” commented Minoru Takada, President of NamiWave, LLC. “We are honored to now be associated with such a strong brand. Our partnership with Seven-Eleven Hawaii, Inc. also means that consumers will have 24/7 access to their entertainment.”

NamiWave plans to launch its first two kiosks in 7-Eleven® Makiki (1206 S. King St., Honolulu, HI 96814) and in 7-Eleven® Moanalua (4805 Bougainville Dr., Honolulu, HI 96818) this summer.
